Lu silk is one of China's three famous silk fabrics, a national intangible cultural heritage, representing northern silk, and is renowned alongside Hangzhou silk and Sichuan brocade. It has been a tribute to the imperial court for five hundred years during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The company integrates silk fabric design, weaving, printing and dyeing, finished product processing, and sales. It is the largest silk printing and dyeing enterprise in North China, and one of the key textile enterprises in Shanxi Province. The company is a protected unit of the national intangible cultural heritage - Lu Silk Weaving Techniques. It is also the only enterprise in North China selected for the first batch of "China High-End Silk Logo Certification". Jilier is a well-known Chinese trademark.
