Wang Mang Ridge Scenery Tourist Area, consisting of more than 50 peaks strewn at random discretion, is a typical representative of the Mount Taihang sceneries. According to legend, Wang Mang of the Western Han Dynasty run after Liu Xiu to this place to pitch a camp, for which it was given the name. Geological wonders, cool and refreshing sacred ground, summer resort, ecological vegetation, roadbuilding spirit, Taihang folk custom and slabstone culture are the seven major characteristics of the Wang Mang Ridge Scenic Area. High and steep peaks and cliffs, sea of clouds, tiptop sunrise, light of Buddha all year round, sea of forests, whistling of the wind in the pines, hanging wall avenue, high gorge and flat lake, and soft rime with hung ice are called the eight sculptures of the Wang Mang Ridge. In addition, there is also the birthland of I-go worldwide - Pieces Mountain; the roadbuilding spirit of the Foolish Old Man in the contemporary era - Xiya Gully, etc., it is a comprehensive scenic area with natural, ecological, geological, climate, humanity, historical legend and folk culture fused together, with the combination of green trip and red spirit. The most charming, shocking and attractive landscapes in the Wang Mang Ridge Scenic Area are sunrise, sea of clouds, all sorts of flowers, stone forest and strangely-shaped pines. All the four seasons are sceneries here, there are plays "every day", which are infinite in variety. Only in the Wang Mang Ridge, you can feel the atmosphere and magnificence of Mount Taihang and feel like flying over the peaks when you ascend a height and look out in a sunny day; upon climbing a hill in thin fog and fine rain, strangely-shaped peaks are indistinct, the woodland is misty, everywhere is covered with a layer of mystery, place oneself among them, you will feel it quiet and carefree.
